The museum has ample free parking, including a coach park just 150m from the site, and toilets.
There is a gift shop on site which sells souvenirs, needles and a range of cold drinks, ice creams and other confectionary items. There are picnic tables throughout the grounds.
Bicycle stands are available at the Visitor Centre.
The Museum has language guides in French German and Spanish.
There is also a free 'Millers Trail' available for ramblers and the 'Abbey Meadows Trail' can be purchased for 75p.
Audios tours for the both the Abbey site and Museum are free.
The waterwheel and machinery is working most weekends and for groups and school visits.
The museum's free car park has designated disabled spaces.
There is a disabled toilet.
A manual wheelchair is available for use on site.
The museum has a hearing loop and Braille and large type guides.
We also have an 'upstairs downstairs' book which shows photographs with notes of items on display on the top floor of both Forge Mill and the Visitor Centre.
