Booking is essential for Sunday as it is a full day workshop. Monday is a drop-in activity.

TANGENT TEXTILE WORKSHOP

Members of the Tangent Textile Group will be in the Exhibition Gallery to talk about the creative design process and to share some of the embroidery techniques that you can see on display in the exhibition.

Come and find out more about bats with Worcestershire Bat Group. We will be looking for these amazing creatures in their natural environment and listening to them using bat detectors.

WHEELWRIGHT DISPLAY

A display of tiny, detailed models by the Guild of Model Wheelwrights set in the beautiful grounds of Forge Mill Museum.

Guild members construct and exhibit precision scale models of a wide variety of horse drawn vehicles and farm implements. Often included are models which have won major awards in national exhibitions.

Meet Beatrix Potter and her favourite characters as she tells us the tales of naughty Peter and Benjamin in Mr McGregor’s garden.

Gates open 4.15pm for picnics. Performance begins at 5.00pm.

A SPOOKTACULAR TIME AT THE MUSEUM

Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre holds many different events throughout the year.

These can link in with National Days or initiatives, seasonal themes or temporary exhibitions that are on display at the museum.

In 2016 the events programme is as exciting as ever and includes all sorts of events: Medieval Festivals, Farm Fun Days, workshops, displays, and many more.
