Events
Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre holds many different events throughout the year.
These can link in with National Days or initiatives, seasonal themes or exhibitions that are on display at the museum, or just fun-filled events for all the family to enjoy. With such a variety of events there is something for everybody!
HALF TERM PUMPKINS IN WONDERLAND TRAIL – FREE
Tumble down the rabbit hole and explore the fantastical world of Alice in Wonderland on our magical pumpkin trail. Can you spot them all?
Please be aware this trail is outside in the grounds of the museum so please dress appropriately for the weather.

PUMPKIN CARVING WORKSHOPS
Create a design and carve your own pumpkin creation. All tools and pumpkins provided.
We ask that any child under 8 is accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop although please only book a place for the participating child.

CREATE BUILD LEARN LEGO WORKSHOPS: MAGICAL WORLDS
Inspired by our Pumpkins in Wonderland Trail, come and use your imagination and create your own magical world with the ‘Create Build Learn’ team.
We ask that any child under 8 is accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop although please only book a place for the participating child.

Drop in and make your own Playing Card Character when you visit our Pumpkins in Wonderland trail.

From foliage to festive – join us on this workshop to make a traditional Christmas wreath using natural materials.
