Step back in time – a visual experience of the local area in bygone days! As part of the Worcestershire Film Archive tour the museum will be showing an hours film combining footage of Worcestershire in general as well as footage of Redditch. The films date from the 1930s onwards.
This project has been supported by Worcestershire County Council, Media Archive for Central England and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre holds many different events throughout the year.
These can link in with National Days or initiatives, seasonal themes or temporary exhibitions that are on display at the museum.
In 2008 the events programme is bigger than ever and includes all sorts of events: a Medieval Festival, an Alien week, workshops, talks, poetry readings, a Murder Mystery, Shakespeare plays and many more.
